Where this comes from
Two places. Eolas Prints manufactures filament at the Besaya business park in Reocín and sells it, with 3D printers and laser engravers, into 235 countries: the ERP, the warehouse, the store and the carriers are wired to each other because we did it ourselves, and an order arrives and leaves with its label printed without anyone intervening. And from before that: Tanuj has more than fifteen years in this, as a principal architect at Oxford Nanopore Technologies (UK), a manufacturer of scientific instruments, where he built their internal ordering and logistics system, a genomics data tracking system and a custom integration gateway between back-end platforms — as well as redesigning the company network itself. It is exactly this problem, in a considerably larger factory.

Do you work with our current software?
That is the normal case. Most of these projects are about connecting what is already there rather than replacing it. Replacing an ERP that works rarely pays for itself.
What if our systems have no API?
It still works, through a middle layer: files, database access, or whatever the vendor exposes. It is more work and we will say so in the quote.
Do we have to stop production?
No. It is built in parallel, validated against real data and switched over once it agrees. Nobody shuts down a factory to launch a system.
