Simientes Infinitas is an association that preserves and distributes traditional seed varieties. Eolas Labs built the online store it sells through into 27 EU markets — and which its own members run, with no technical team behind them.

The problem
An association has no IT department. Any solution that depends on knowing how to code, or on emailing the supplier to change a price, is dead before it starts.
What we built
A store the members administer themselves: products, prices, stock and orders, without touching code and without asking anyone’s permission. The complicated part — tax by country, shipping, invoicing — is solved underneath and never asks them to decide anything.
The hard part
Deciding what not to build. The temptation is a bespoke system matching exactly how the association works today; the right answer was to lean on standard tools so they can carry on without us indefinitely.
